Most people think of art shows as places that have odd statues and sculptures, paintings, and other “art”. It is true that those things are abundant at an art show, or festival, regardless of how big or small it may be. What you may not realize is that there is often a lot more to see than paint splattered on a canvas. Art festival music is also quite common and most of the time, outstanding; even if you do not like that type of music.
Types of Music
At most festivals, you will find a variety of sounds that may appeal to you, if nothing else than for the talent that it takes the musicians to perform. It may be jazz, instrumental, or blues, country, or pop. Musicians may play songs that you have heard all your life or bring something new to your ears that you have never heard before. You may find them performing music or doing a new type of dance that you want to learn. At a festival, anything is possible, and you never know what you will discover until you go.
Go, See, and Experience
If you find out that an art festival is coming to your area, you should do what you can to get out and enjoy all that you will find there. It will be an experience unlike anything you have ever before witnessed.
